Is COOPMAN free?
Free account registration and free society management tools. A few optional services carry a fee — NOC for loan / mortgage (₹500), Professional provider subscription (₹999) — always shown before you pay. Society charges, stamp duty and government fees are separate.
Is the flat transfer free?
The online transfer process on COOPMAN is free. Your society may charge a transfer fee as its bye-laws allow; stamp duty and registration charges are separate.
Does COOPMAN register our society?
No. A cooperative housing society in West Bengal is registered by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies. Once registered, list it here and claim management.
Who can see our society's records?
Only that society's authorised users. The public profile shows only what the society chooses to publish.
Listing or claiming — what is the difference?
Listing adds a registered society to the public directory. Claiming is the Secretary's or Chairman's request to manage it, with proof of office.
Are the templates legal advice?
No. They are working drafts. Check them against your bye-laws and current West Bengal co-operative law, or take professional advice.
